Job Description
As a School Assistant in Aftercare, you will be an active member of a team providing high quality education and care in an after care and vacation care service for children of preschool age. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Actively supervise and effectively communicate with the children
Respond to the strengths, interests and needs of the children
Contribute to the recording of the observations of children’s learning and development
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in an education and care setting
Bilingual French & English would be ideal
ACECQA approved Certificate III level qualification would be a plus
Knowledge of and understanding of the National Qualifications Standards and Early Years Learning Framework would be highly regarded
